Nemeia looks to Holger.
"Hmmmm... Let me try something.
Carefully, (and hopefully with the others' helping to shield her) Nemeia creeps towards the statue, with one of the snake-bones. Holding it carefully in her hand between two fingers (so the bone would touch the lever when she closes her hand), she casts Mage Hand and floats the bone to the left-hand brazier lever and tries to move it. If that doesn't work, she'll try the altar lever, then the right-hand lever.
To hold the bone how she intends:
Sleight of Hand: 1D20+6 = [20]+6 = 26

((Has Holger been perched atop the statue this whole time? If so, I'll take a CON save from him to maintain the awkward perch for an extended period. Tess, does your class ability increase your range for MH, or is it still 30 ft? Anyone else approaching with her?))

Nope it's still 30 feet, but she'll keep it visible rather than invisible. She'll also stay on the outer edge of its range (even though it won't help much)

Coljin will move up with her, so he is a target for the beam. He will be holding his shield and can he be actively defense against it?
He will state he is worried if she is hit by the beam, it might ruin her magic, and who else will be willing to be a 'target'?
And he will cast resistance on himself too, right before they move in.

((I'm not sure if Ulmwin would know/ have noticed IC, but OOC I'm pretty sure that the levers on the center gem will activate/deactivate the turrets, while the levers on the side will open/close side passages... There was also a lever to open the central "pit", but I don't remember where that was.))

As you all have been healing, studying and planning, Holger has been standing awkwardly atop the statue.
As Tess and Randy move forward, he shifts position to be ready in case they need help... only to find out his leg has fallen asleep.
Holger Con Save: 1D20+4 = [1]+4 = 5
Holger topples off the statue, landing in heap in front of the statue.
The statue fires on Tess, despite the fallen sorcerer and the sacrificial ranger. ((DEX save please!))
Holger:1;Tess:2;Randy:3: 1D3 = [2] = 2
After taking a hit from the beam, Tess floats her mage hand forward, pressing the finger bone firmly against the lever as she pushes it forward. With a rumble, the stone slabs covering the alcoves to the left of the room begin rising.

Focused on getting the bone to work, Tess doesn't manage to dodge any of the beam, taking the full brunt of it squarely, undoing most of her recent healing.
Statue Beam: fire, necrotic, radiant: 1D4 = [4] = 4
1D4 = [2] = 2
1D4 = [2] = 2
As the slabs rise, the statue fires again at Tess...

After Randy gets shot, Tess moves her mage hand around to the opposite side of the lever and shuts them.
