I did say *most*... and this would be nastier if you'd had to slog your way through bears to get this far...

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Let's be honest, a quick heads up BEFORE turning into a bear would have made all of this a lot less alarming for everyone.
Also, no-one's actually explained why Maji is a bear yet. I doubt Nem would have met druids before, though she might have heard stories about transmogrifiers ...

Zephyr will be going with you guys, it's not really her character to stay behind, she and Krodop don't get along, and when Badge is able to take up her reins again, it will be easiest if she's already with the main party. I'll have her act somewhat more cautiously, but as in character as possible.

Hey spider I was wondering what level you were thinking we would be at at the end of the campaign.

Since I have no long term campaign end in mind, we'll just keep going as long as we're able. You trying to plan out long term character choices?

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Yea, if it's low level I want at least one lv of barbearian, if it's high then up to 3 (wolf or bear), and if lv 20 then I may want to stay as pure druid. And I am not sure when its best to go into multiclassing either...

I can't rule out level 20, though that would likely take us quite a long time to get there...

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
And assuming that we all live to see level 20...
I've heard 5e gets a bit odd at the high levels, but L6 is the highest I've personally been with it
Choosing when to multiclass is always tricky because you get great perks all the way through pretty much!

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
No, it was on me to nudge Maji, since he didn't know he's up, but everyone has stacked conditionals of waiting until someone else does something, and no one is, so I kept holding off to make sure I was parsing it decently.

How when you can't see it? You wouldn't know if you should lean against the left or right wall to avoid it or if it was shooting high or low.Arch Lich Burns wrote:But...I knew where it was aiming at.

If you hadn't dodged, it would have had advantage...

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Obviously maji is phycic.
In seriousness : it was...hiding? And having a reaction?
Alsocan i has maji closer to the blight? Like right before the first fork in the halkway?

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
They detected Nem before she ran back to raise the alarm, so he bad guys having readied attacks for a short time doesn't seem unreasonable... I'm guessing it had advantage because you couldn't see it in the dark, so it counted as shooting from being Hidden.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
One on one, Randy might be willing to try taking one straight up, now that they can't one hit him. 3 vs. 1 is a little stiff, especially since a needle blight and Randy are otherwise on par archery wise. Hence the reason he's staying back under some cover. Randy and Holger have pretty decent ranged attacks and can pick them off from cover. If they get in closer than missile range, Randy may get to test out his dual wield (and a good probability of testing out his new healing abilities afterwards. Probably on himself. )

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
I think I told everyone there's an open room ahead. It makes sense to me for the melee folk to shove through to fight there and clear space for the ranged folk to shoot from the sides.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
If your goal is to charge straight ahead, maybe not. If you were planning to ambush blights as they came around the corner, maybe so. As it stands the blights have the advantage of being able to spread out in the room and use the doorway as a choke point, unless all three needle blights came down the hallway. And that's the ones we know about.
