They are almost out of range of detect evil, but one of the lion people are just close enough for you to glimpse the evil aura emanating from him.

"at least one of the lion-things is evil... Perhaps the horsemen are not and need our help?"

Ala moves towards the battle to get a better sense of the others. She'll keep her should ready but leave her axe loose in her belt.

Henry tries to sneak up on the evil lion thingy and stab it in the back. Preferably multiple times until it's dead.

What's this?! A sure sign of an impending apocalypse!

Henry sneaks ahead to a nearby tree a bit closer closer to the battlefield, making sure that he's not seen while moving between the trees are going to slow him down a bit though.

One of the lion guys looks at Darfel and yells at him
"Excellent, you are her just in time to help with defending us against the centaurs!"
Darfel can't help but think that's an excellent suggestion. They are after all outnumbered and he should probably help even the odds for them.

One centaur shoots at him in response, just narrowly missing him.

"Dammit Darfel! That wasn't the plan!" (Quietly)

Ala charges in after him, doing detect evil on the rest of the battlefield as she goes.

She will attempt to stop Darfel from attacking the centaurs by placing herself between him and them (assuming they're not evil).

"I have no idea what started this fight between you, but so help you, if you attack any of my companions again we will end it. Explain what is going on!"

I'd like to be intimidating please.

Edit: I missed the initiative on the first read, but I'll leave this as my standing action unless anything major changes in the next few turns.

Cranberry rushes the field waving his arms wildly about as his approaches the centuars.
" DON'T SHOOT! AM JUST AN OLD MAN WHO'S LOST!!" He yells and when he gets close he stops to catch his breath,
" Am...*Puff* Here *Gasp* to help" He manages to say before raising his hand to shake the centaurs

((I'm just charging towards the fight in general, not towards the centaurs specifically, unless they are positioned such that I'd be approaching them first. The centaur shot at the lion man, not at me.))

(( But we could all hear the Liontaur's words, right? ))

Henry stays hidden and readies his javelin. If need be (aka if there is fighting instead of talking between his group and the conflicting parties) he'll throw it at the liontaur who used suggestion, preferably from behind, out of the shadows, and then either hide again (not sure if possible in combat) or charge into the fight, yelling and wings spread for effect.

It was a bit unclear but Thinks is right, you failed your will save against a suggestion spell. It will compell you to do as suggested unless it really goes against what Darfel normally would do (A plea to join the fighting, I doubt that's against his will though :P )
On the other hand you are still just approaching the battle and will be there next turn where a centaur wizard will cast sleep on you, knocking you out for the rest of the battle Please don't kill Holger for that joke!

Gathers, you could sneak closer so you are within 30 ft of them and get a sneak attack in. You can hide after shooting someone but you get -20 on the roll to hide.
Those where I've not specified the distance, you are roughly 60-65 ft away from the battle.

"Really, Darfel? With how easy you're obliging, I'd be thinking you'd be more willing to listen to the rest of your team..." Jasper says- Approaching, but making sure to stay in the back of the group. He then attempts to summon a monstrous centipede- Having learned his lesson that bees suck.

Just to be clear, Darfel just ran towards the battle as he indicated he would. He hasn't done anything to make it seem he's convinced to join the lion people yet.

I could web the ground, but I don't think that's ideal for Darfel and when our enemies seem to be spellcasters. :P

That's what I was trying to clarify... I've done nothing but charge in, the lion guy yelled to me, but I've not said "Sure" or "go shove it" to him yet... perhaps one of you magic types could make a skill check to tell he cast something on me?

wait, what? Henry has to sneak closer to throw the javelin? Or can't throwing a javelin be done as sneak attack?

@Gathers A javelin has a range increment of 30 ft meaning you get -2 on attack everytime you go beyond that limit. For thrown weapons you can cast a weapon up to 5 times the range for a total penalty of -8.

You also have to be within 30 ft for a sneak attack to be possible.

@Jacon Do you want Cranberry to charge up to the centaurs or just go the regular 30 ft putting you in the middle but with no penalties to AC?

well, in that case, sneak until within 30 ft. and then sneak attack-throw javelin. IF fighting goes on, instead of turning into talking, that is.
