You said "or deceased" which means to me basically dead or alive. Nevermind, just correct your impression in the next smalltalk with my char or whenever the topic comes up. Until then I will let him believe it, since you wrote it.Arch Lich Burns wrote:What is a NOA?
Also i never said people. Just animals. And the dead. Nothing creepy about that. Nope.

Re: Surviving Castle Heterodyne - OOC Discussion Thread
Aw cmon Burns, do a bit of research and at least know the players! It's NewOneAround, he plays Sal, who is currently inactive. You're really doing Spider a disservice if you intend to play his game with no idea of the mechanics and other players.Arch Lich Burns wrote:What is a NOA?
And FYI, if you start poking around with animals (alive or dead) too much, you'll really piss of Enoch. He's extremely arrogant and needs to feel wanted, so if someone usurps what is his authority he'll retaliate. That's entirely your choice, just giving you a heads up how my character would react

I tend to abbreviate long forum names into acronyms. (ALB is you, by the way.)

No way I am going for ALB. She has been Burns since...ever! Long before the Arch lich title was added.
It took me a while to understand who NOA is supposed to be. I just call him NewOne. Don't overabreviate an identifier name, as long as parts of it are unique, SW.

I do feel the need to say that I think this is a bit too harsh. (I'm having a deja-vu here )
IMO almost killing Quargs chara and taking him out of action for a few hours is punishment enough, he doesn't need to be permanently disfigured too.

I will try to make a pressure compress with some moss. or cauterize the wound first, then wrapp her in moss. As Hiero just learned, the moss is no expert in stopping blood loss. So we have to do that first.spiderwrangler wrote:Hmm... good point. Maybe someone else will protect her?Quarg wrote:Er....I don't think she'll survive Dr. Death over there...
Hiero (and August) both learned some things about Biology and connected knowledge, maybe thats enough.

Sorry I didn't post sooner, last time I looked we were all asleep.
Maybe if we stick her ear in the right place, the moss will heal it back on :s

Maybe we turn it around before that, than she could hear better what happens behind her. *evil*
No, just kidding. Tried to write something a few minutes ago, maybe that works.

Re: Surviving Castle Heterodyne - OOC Discussion Thread
Since one of the actions was 'cut open her lungs/thrust a hot knife in her', (paraphrasing a bit) I'm giving you an additional piece of info. While doing some immediate first aid to tide her over until she's on moss would be a good thing, there won't be quite the bleeding issue Hiero had once she is well mossed. He was suffering from leech bites, the anti-clotting compound they dosed him with was countering the moss's work.

Re: Surviving Castle Heterodyne - OOC Discussion Thread
That was exactly why Ursula's action was to get her into the moss.
No paraphrasing required - Burns' action was exactly "cut into her lungs"

Re: Surviving Castle Heterodyne - OOC Discussion Thread
The paraphrasing was more on the cauterizing end. Mentioning it less to make you choose actions against what characters would know, Hiero did bleed, and cauterizing would be an approach to limitiong that. Post was more to clarify, and so that if I later say that the bleeding is stopped by the moss, you know why.

No, my actions were trying to get to her lungs to not hurt her too bad, and to sew up her lungs. Apparently you guys think i am out to kill you.

Re: Surviving Castle Heterodyne - OOC Discussion Thread
I get that your intentions are good and you're just trying to help, but
a) Spider already said that she wouldn't need additional care to prevent bleeding out/additional damage.
b) You kept trying to fix her after the post already stated that she was on one of the moss beds, which should keep her stable and heal the wounds.
c) Your skill levels are likely not high enough for such an invasive surgery. Remember that our basic skills after the mind-wipe are pretty low.
