I really want to know what kind of awful brimstone smells like, but that's just me.

Loving the new coloring.

So, this is definitely because of the axe breaking. I called it! I think...

Brimstone is a fancy name for sulfur ore. It smells like rotten eggs (which also produce sulfurous fumes). Not exactly the Hellish scent one might imagine, but we're stuck with the lore.

The rotten egg smell is hydrogen sulphide. Sulphur is the distinctive smell you get around volcanoes (What you don't hang around volcanoes? OK hot springs / geysers)

Sulfur springs smell the same, though. And eggs are more common.

Greatly enjoying the new colors and color style bring used. Lots o complexity and detail being brought out with the shading. I appreciate the regular place of updates. This is the 4th deadline met in my mind, and a repair of deadline being met is impressive indeed. Well done.

To plot. The rocks have unhappy faces. That this provides a connection to hell is fortuitous. These links might be through the dungeon underneath. A dwarfs tunneling skills might come in handy now, as well as a paladins dwarf skills. Watch this Kore Space.

Yeah hydrogen sulphide is also common where there is sulphur.

Sulphur dioxide the gas associated with burning brimstone (or matches if you find them more common) and smells quite different. It's quite pungent, acrid and choking. It also does you worse than a nasty smell. It's pretty toxic and does wonders for your respiratory system (as in "I wonder why I can't breathe any more")

My Minmax, that's adorable. A lot of change for Forgath in the past day, huh? A fight with Kore, a tumble to his 'death', waking up surrounded by floating, clicking creatures and a bunny-person.
The point is to have fun.

This just confirms that the two parties are very close to one another. The hell mouth as well, obviously.

5th week in row with a comic:
02 January
09 January
17 January (repaired of 16 January - hellstrands and blood colour)
24 January, (repaired of 23 January - spelling error)
30 January
So, every Monday of this year got its update!
(so far)

Forgath feels the rocks as being "sick"? (Dwarf skillz!)
Interesting.

I love how everyone ignores every comment Bowst makes, and the only reaction to his actions are wordless...

I love how Forgath just knows that Minmax is behind the sky turning a different shade and the rocks being sick. It's either meta-gaming or simply knowing that his bumbling friend is nearly as bad as Fumbles at creating improbable situations.

Love it!

The coloring I grew used to and I will probably love it as it does fit the comic now that I look at it. Nice!

Its more she knows how Minmax works, sure it wasn't really his fault this time, but if something major is going on minmax is involved somehow.

Well, technically she's not right--it was Big Ears who managed to open the portal to hell, and Big Ears is probably the smartest in that particular party.

Minmax, on the other hand, fell for a lame greed trap full of items too wonky to justify the space in the backpack.

Forgath had a sex change? Do I need to update my pronouns? :p

Nope just your memory. ;)

Forgath's player's a girl. So if the assumption of MM being the cause was made with meta information, it would indeed be the player, not the character whose pronoun would apply.

If the above were referring to the player, then there would be no need for discussion about her being wrong or knowing how MM thinks, as she would know he did it as a fact. She also wouldn't have referred to MM in the first place since as noted, it was Complains that sped up the Axe's disintegration.

She might not know what MinMax is up to. Many GMs run multiple party dungeons and instruct the players not to share until the parties run into one another.

There is a difference between player knowledge and character knowledge. I was referring to Forgath, the character, attributing something to Minmax, the character, because he knows that his friend is capable of doing/causing a lot of random BIG things to happen. Characters can meta-game or infer that something may or may not happen, based on knowledge of what they know another character might do.

MM is good at getting into trouble and Forgath knows it. That's all I meant.
