Inbox issues?

Postby CelineSSauve » Thu Apr 04, 2013 3:48 am

Without noticing, my inbox got to that magic 75 mark. (Likely due to the coordination with a new PC.) The issue now is that I have deleted most of those messages, but I still have a notification that I have "4 new messages" waiting for me...

Will those appear in time? Are they lost forever?

There should be a button/link/something next or close to that notification which should allow you to "release all on-hold messages". This will release the messages in your inbox if you have the space.

Sorry for the vagueness, I haven't yet had it happen to me for a while now, and I don't think on this new forum yet. :)

Ah, thank you!

It was a link in the inbox, shortly under the "New PM" button.

Hmm. Except I only have three new messages now. Oddness.

EDIT: Ah, it brings them to the inbox and opens the oldest of the group.

As game master, you should apply to join game masters' group. They have increased inbox.

I had applied a while back, when I discovered there was such a group.

You can also set up extra mail folders and set it to overflow into them when the main inbox fills, so the oldest message would be moved to box 2 and when that filled into box 3 (at least I think it could work that way)

In regards to the Inbox (or PM's as a whole) Is it possible to get a way to download ones messages boxes without having to go through all the PM's one by one and copy paste?

THat would be a great way to save space and allow users to keep their tons and tons of PM's.

(yes, I'm interested in this :P)

You can export some as XML (or CSV, by that's not very practical). I think you would get everything from current page exported.

Also if you are asking such questions, you must have hit the upper limit of folders. What is it?

I normally delete older ones when I received a reply, as the PM-history is attached and (apparently) doesn't get lost.
